Champions Think & Do!
I am a professional coach. That is how I earn a living. Job is great as I work with lots of high achievers. Down side I run into a lot of underachievers – want to be great, want to be a champion but have no idea what it really takes.
So how does someone become a champion? What is the secret?
Firstly Champions are not born they are made. Sure you have to have some talent for what you choose to do but talent alone won’t get you to the top. Stacks of people have talent and go nowhere.
Secondly there is NO SECRET to becoming a champion.
Champions....
- Choose to think differently than the average person
- Choose the positive actions that set themselves apart from the pack
Put simply Champions choose to THINK & ACT LIKE CHAMPIONS
- They expect to win. Their positive beliefs lead to positive and powerful actions and outcomes. They win in their head so they win on the field.
- They work hard for small wins because small wins lead to big wins. Wins of any size and form drive champions to work harder, practice more and give the confidence to pursue the big wins.
- They take full accountability for their own performance and never make any excuses. When they make a mistake they simply refocus on what they can do better.
- They choose a WANT TO mentality. They know if they are to achieve they must WANT to do whatever it takes whether they like doing it or not.
- They expect to win again and again.
Definition: Champ-pi-on (noun)
1.Supreme victor in contest 2. Remarkable person
Fletch’s Big Tip: I have had a gutful of all the people who say they are “gunna be a champion”, talk about how they are “gunna be the best at what they do” and then do stuff all about it. Don’t ask me or anyone else to help you if you are one of these people as you just waste everyone’s time. I am only interested and able to help those who are seriously willing to do what it takes.
So do you want to be a Champion? If YES I look forward to hearing from you.
“Champions aren't made in gyms. Champions are made from something they have deep inside them: A desire, a dream, a vision. They have to have late minute stamina, they have to be a little faster, they have to have the skill and the will. But the will must be stronger than the skill"- Muhammad Ali
